Connect your training data to AI like Claude or ChatGPT

Athmex keeps tabs on how each of the main wearable brands are able to connect and share workouts and activities to AI like Claude or ChatGPT.

Some have direct integrations or MCP servers for your AI to access and others need workarounds or routed through the likes of Strava to see things like heart rate zones, paces, cycling watts or best efforts.

Even then, none of them hold your full athlete picture including goals, your next race, or the injury and constraints you’ve got. Find your device below, then see why serious athletes add Athmex alongside it to supercharge their training, racing and performance.

Find your wearable AI connector route

Why athletes add Athmex

Your wearable reports what happened. Athmex adds why you're training and what's changed, so your AI can decide what's next.

Close the loop on your training. Let Claude or ChatGPT know who you are, what you are training for and your key training inputs to build you sessions and plans that work.

Add in your post session or race results by connecting your wearable and that lets the AI see how it went and make adjustments for next time as well as giving you clean and consistent feedback on performance.

01

Your activity connector

COROS sends Claude or ChatGPT what a session was: distance, pace, heart rate and more. Garmin, Apple Watch and WHOOP do the same for Claude only, once the activity reaches Strava.

02

Athmex

Your PBs, thresholds, goals and races plus things like injuries and constraints form the context of who you are and why you train.

03

Claude or ChatGPT

Your AI assistant reasons across both sources: It uses Athmex to help you create training plans and sessions then closes the loop with your watch data to see how it went.

Whichever platform you use, setting up an Athmex profile is the easiest way to get it connected. It walks you through linking Strava or COROS in the same short flow, then adds the context neither of them holds.

Most of the wearables and connectors below use Strava to route the activity data into your AI, what the connector can and can't tell Claude is broken down for you to help you understand what works and what doesn’t.

If you use ChatGPT rather than Claude, most of what follows doesn't apply yet as there no official Strava connector for ChatGPT. What actually connects to ChatGPT today covers the one route that does - COROS.

Requires
Tell us which device, connector or platform you use via the contact page and we'll investigate adding it to the Athmex roadmap.
Cost
None. Athmex doesn't store or hold any of your activity data, that stays between you and Claude or ChatGPT.
What you get
It'll differ for each wearable, some store more data than others but the main goal for Athmex is to close the loop on your training. We let the AI know why and how you train so help it by feeding in the results of your efforts.
What it won’t do
We only encourage wearables and connectors to Claude or ChatGPT via official methods and won't endorse third party or single user hacks.
