IntegrationsRunalyze · Training analysis

Bring your Runalyze training analysis into ChatGPT or Claude.

Runalyze already calculates effective VO2max, Marathon Shape, TRIMP and race predictions from every run. Build your Athmex profile so ChatGPT or Claude also knows the race, goal time, PBs, thresholds and constraints those numbers should be judged against.

Can ChatGPT or Claude use Runalyze training?

Yes. Runalyze analysis can be part of a ChatGPT or Claude coaching setup. Your runs usually reach Runalyze from a watch platform, which also opens routes to an assistant, and you can share any Runalyze figure or chart in the conversation.

Runalyze calculates. The assistant still needs to know what you're aiming for. Start your Athmex profile, connect it to ChatGPT or Claude, and we'll help you bring your Runalyze analysis into the same coaching setup. Athmex doesn't import Runalyze data itself.

The numbers Runalyze calculates

Runalyze is a training log built for runners who like depth. From heart rate and pace it estimates an effective VO2max for each run and a trend over time. Marathon Shape compares your recent long runs and weekly volume with what a marathon demands. TRIMP measures the training impulse of each session, and fatigue (ATL), fitness (CTL) and stress balance (TSB) follow from it.

Around those sit monotony and training strain, which flag weeks that are too similar or too heavy, race prognosis for common distances, Climb Score for the hills in a route, running dynamics where your watch records them, and trend analysis across years of training history.

Calculated metrics need a goal to mean anything

A Marathon Shape of 70% is encouraging eighteen weeks out and a problem three weeks out. A race prognosis of 3:28 is exciting if the goal is 3:30 and a warning if the goal is 3:15. Monotony rising during a base block may be fine; during a sharpening phase it suggests the hard days aren't hard enough.

Each of those judgements depends on facts Runalyze doesn't hold: the race you've entered, the goal time, your real PBs and when you set them, the threshold you train to, how many days you can run and the injury you're working around.

Athmex keeps those ready for ChatGPT or Claude. The assistant can then read Runalyze's numbers the way a coach would, against a specific athlete and a specific race.

Effective VO2max and race prognosis

Both estimate what you could do now. Your goal is what you want on the day. With your race history in Athmex, the assistant can say how far to trust the prediction and what would close the gap.

TSB before a race

Stress balance should rise into a race. Knowing the race date, the assistant can check whether the taper is doing its job.

Climb Score and trail goals

Climb Score rates how demanding a route's climbs are. For a trail or mountain race, that's a useful way to compare training routes with the race itself. Add the race and its profile to Athmex and the assistant can check whether your hill training matches what's coming. The trail running page goes further.

What ChatGPT or Claude can do with Runalyze

Is Marathon Shape on track?
Compare it with the weeks left and the long runs still planned.
Prognosis versus the goal
Decide whether to keep, raise or lower your target time.
Monotony and strain
Spot a week that's too flat or too heavy and suggest a better mix.
Taper check
Read TSB against your race date and see whether freshness is arriving on time.

Runalyze shows what happened. Athmex explains what you're training for.

Your AI coach does the reasoning. It reasons better when it knows the athlete, and that part stays in your Athmex profile for every conversation.

Questions Runalyze athletes ask about ChatGPT and Claude

Can ChatGPT use Runalyze data?

You can share Runalyze figures and charts directly, and your runs may also reach ChatGPT from the watch platform that feeds Runalyze. With your race and goal time in Athmex, ChatGPT can judge the numbers.

Can Claude interpret Runalyze Marathon Shape?

Yes, when it knows the marathon date and your goal. Marathon Shape is a measure of readiness, and readiness depends on how many weeks are left.

How accurate is Runalyze race prognosis?

It's a good estimate from recent training. An assistant that knows your real race history and conditions on the day can say how far to trust it.

Does Runalyze replace an AI coach?

Runalyze analyses. ChatGPT or Claude reasons about what to do next. Athmex gives the assistant the goals and constraints that analysis needs.
