IntegrationsIntervals.icu · Training analysis

Bring your Intervals.icu training into ChatGPT or Claude.

Intervals.icu can hold an extraordinary amount of useful endurance data. Athmex gives your assistant the persistent athlete context around it, so fitness, fatigue, form, eFTP and power trends can be interpreted against the event and goal you actually care about.

Can ChatGPT or Claude use Intervals.icu training?

Yes. Intervals.icu data can be part of a ChatGPT or Claude coaching setup. Your activities usually reach Intervals.icu from a device or platform that has its own route to the assistant, and you can share fitness, form and power numbers in the conversation.

Athmex supplies the events, confirmed thresholds, availability and constraints that make those numbers personal. Start your profile, connect it to ChatGPT or Claude, and we'll help you bring Intervals.icu into the same setup. Athmex doesn't import Intervals.icu data.

Fitness, fatigue and form

The fitness chart is where most Intervals.icu athletes start. Fitness is a long rolling average of training load, fatigue a short one, and form the gap between them, shown as a percentage with coloured zones from Transition and Fresh to Optimal and High Risk.

It's the same idea as TrainingPeaks' Performance Management Chart, with more control. You can mark phases, see ramp rate and compare seasons. What it can't tell you is whether today's numbers are right for your event. That depends on the date, the priority and your history.

eFTP, power curves and W'

Intervals.icu estimates FTP from your best efforts as you ride: eFTP. The power curve compares this season with last across every duration, and W' describes how much work you can do above threshold.

That's rich material for an AI coach. A power curve strong at five minutes and weak at an hour suggests different training from the reverse. eFTP creeping up might mean it's time to update your zones, or it might be one great day. Keep the FTP you've confirmed in Athmex, and the assistant can weigh the estimate against it.

Wellness and the calendar

Many athletes log wellness in Intervals.icu: HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, weight and how they feel. Alongside the calendar and planned workouts, that makes it one of the most complete training records around.

The more data there is, the more a goal matters. An assistant can help you notice patterns and decide what to change, when it knows the event you're working towards.

Intervals.icu for runners

Runners get pace curves, heart-rate and pace zones, training load from pace or heart rate, and running power where a footpod records it. The same fitness chart tracks the build.

For a runner, the useful questions are about the race: is the long run progressing, is threshold pace improving, is the load climbing too fast. With your race, goal time and paces in Athmex, an assistant can answer them against the day that matters.

Planning with the calendar and workout builder

The workout builder lets you write structured sessions and push them to your watch or bike computer. Planned workouts sit on the calendar, and completed ones land beside them with their load.

An assistant can help you plan the block: which sessions, in which order, with how much recovery. It can't write into your Intervals.icu calendar through Athmex, but it can give you sessions you can build in minutes.

From an Intervals.icu number to a coaching decision

A few examples of how athlete context changes the answer:

Form drops into High Risk

Fine for a short, planned overload. A problem if it lasts, or if the race is close. Your race date decides.

Ramp rate is high

Fitness is climbing fast. The assistant can check that against your injury history and how long the build has left.

eFTP rises after a race

One great day, or a real change? The assistant can compare it with your confirmed FTP and suggest whether to update your zones.

Questions Intervals.icu athletes ask about ChatGPT and Claude

Can ChatGPT use my Intervals.icu fitness and form?

Share them in the conversation, or use a route you trust. Athmex adds the race dates that make form meaningful.

Can Claude use my eFTP?

Share it, and keep the FTP you've confirmed in Athmex so Claude knows which number to plan from.

Can AI use my Intervals.icu power curve?

Yes, when it's shared. It's most useful alongside the demands of your target event.

Can ChatGPT tell me if my Intervals.icu form is right for race day?

It can help you read it. Most athletes race best with form slightly positive after a taper, but the right number depends on you: how you've raced before, how long the event is and how you like to feel on the start line.

Keep your race date and past races in Athmex, share your fitness chart, and the assistant can suggest how the last two weeks should move it.

Can Claude help me plan a block in Intervals.icu?

Yes. Share your power curve and recent weeks, and with your event and weekly hours in Athmex, Claude can suggest the focus and structure of the next block. You then build the sessions in the workout builder.

Is there an official Intervals.icu connection for ChatGPT or Claude?

Intervals.icu has said it's working on one. Community tools exist today but aren't official, so check who runs one before giving it access.
