Can ChatGPT or Claude use MapMyRun and MapMyRide training?

Yes. MapMyRun and MapMyRide training can be part of a ChatGPT or Claude coaching setup. Workouts can reach an assistant through supported routes, and you can always share splits and summaries from the app.

The app records the session. It doesn't know the race. Start your Athmex profile, connect it to ChatGPT or Claude, and we'll help you bring your MapMyRun or MapMyRide training into the same coaching setup. Athmex keeps your goals, PBs and constraints; it doesn't import MapMyRun data itself.

What MapMyRun and MapMyRide record

Both apps track the essentials for every workout: distance, duration, pace or speed, elevation and the route on a map. Splits break a run into miles or kilometres with pace, cadence and heart rate where recorded, and a connected sensor adds heart rate or, for riders, power.

Your workout history, saved routes, weekly goals and challenges sit in the same account, and audio coaching can call out pace and distance as you go. It's a clear, reliable record of what you did.

From splits to a training decision

A set of mile splits tells you whether you slowed down. It takes context to say whether that was a problem. A fade in the last two miles of a tempo run means something different from a fade at the end of a long run in the heat, and different again two weeks before a half marathon.

ChatGPT or Claude can make those calls when it knows your goal race, the pace you're training towards, your recent results and the days you can run. Athmex keeps that ready, so every conversation about a MapMyRun workout starts from the same, current picture of you.

For runners

Keep a recent 5K, 10K or half time and your target race in Athmex. The AI running coach page explains how the assistant plans from them.

For riders

MapMyRide rides with elevation and heart rate are more useful when the assistant knows your event and any FTP you've tested. See the AI cycling coach page.
