Bring your Suunto training into ChatGPT or Claude.
Your Race, Vertical or 9 Peak Pro already records the vert, the zones and the recovery. Build your Athmex profile so ChatGPT or Claude also knows the race that matters, your PBs and thresholds, the days you can train and the constraints to plan around.

Can ChatGPT or Claude use Suunto training?
Yes. Suunto training can form part of a ChatGPT or Claude coaching setup. Suunto activities can reach Claude through a supported activity route, though not every Suunto metric travels with them.
Athmex supplies the persistent athlete context around that training: goals, races, thresholds and constraints. Start your profile, connect it to ChatGPT or Claude, and we'll help you bring Suunto into the same setup. Athmex doesn't import Suunto data itself.
What the Suunto app holds
Suunto athletes plan and review in the Suunto app. Training load is expressed as TSS, with CTL, ATL and TSB for fitness, fatigue and form. Pace zones and power zones set intensity, VO2 max tracks fitness, and routes with GPS and elevation cover the trail side.
On the watch, ZoneSense reads intensity from heart-rate variability during the session, SuuntoPlus adds sport apps, and HRV recovery, Resources and sleep round out the day.

Distance alone doesn't describe trail load
Twenty kilometres on a road and twenty kilometres with 1,500 metres of climbing are different days. Trail runners know it; a generic plan often doesn't. Ascent, descent, terrain and time on feet all shape the load.
Put your race profile, the terrain you can reach and your longest realistic day in Athmex. Then Suunto supplies what you did and the assistant can check it against what the race will ask.

ZoneSense and intensity
ZoneSense is one of the most interesting Suunto features for AI coaching. It says whether a session was really easy, and on trails, where pace means little, that's what matters.
An assistant can use it to check whether easy days stayed easy across a week, as long as it knows what the week was meant to be.
TSB, Resources and race timing
TSB tells you how fresh you are. Resources tells you how recovered. Neither knows when your race is. Read with your race date, they can guide the last weeks of a build.
What ChatGPT or Claude can do with Suunto training
- Build towards a trail race
- Plan vert and long days around your race and the terrain you can reach.
- Read TSB before a key session
- Decide whether you're fresh enough, knowing the session's purpose.
- Check intensity with ZoneSense
- Talk through whether easy days stayed easy.
- Recover after a big weekend
- Use Resources and sleep to plan the next few days.
Suunto shows what happened. Athmex explains what you're training for.
Your AI coach does the reasoning. It reasons better when it knows the athlete, and that part stays in your Athmex profile for every conversation.

Questions Suunto athletes ask about ChatGPT and Claude
Can Claude use my Suunto trail runs?
Yes. Suunto activities can reach Claude through a supported activity route, with time, distance, pace, heart rate and route.
Can ChatGPT use Suunto ZoneSense?
Share it in the conversation. Suunto-specific measures don't always travel with activity routes.
Can AI use Suunto TSS, CTL and TSB?
It can reason about them when you share them, and read them against your race date in Athmex.
Do Suunto swim metrics reach an assistant?
Swim detail such as strokes and SWOLF often doesn't travel with other services. Describe the session if it matters.
Does Athmex import Suunto data?
No. Athmex supplies your athlete context alongside your Suunto training.
