Bring your Fitbit health and training into ChatGPT or Claude.
Your Charge, Inspire, Sense, Versa or Pixel Watch already records your workouts, heart rate, sleep and recovery. Build your Athmex profile so ChatGPT or Claude also knows the goal those numbers belong to: your race, PBs, thresholds, available days and the things you train around.

Can ChatGPT or Claude use Fitbit training?
Yes. Fitbit training can be part of a ChatGPT or Claude coaching setup. Workouts, heart rate and some health data can reach an assistant, depending on your phone and the route you use, and you can always share a number from the Fitbit app in the conversation.
What Fitbit doesn't hold is the goal. Athmex keeps your target race, current PBs, thresholds, availability and constraints ready for the assistant. Start your Athmex profile, connect it to ChatGPT or Claude, and we'll help you bring your Fitbit training into the same coaching setup. Athmex doesn't import Fitbit data itself.
What your Fitbit records every day
The Fitbit app turns a day on the wrist into a handful of signals: steps and activity, Active Zone Minutes, heart-rate zones during workouts, resting heart rate, sleep stages and a Sleep Score, and overnight HRV. On supported devices, a Cardio Fitness Score gives an estimate of VO2 max, and Daily Readiness sums up how prepared your body looks for effort.
A Charge 6 or Inspire keeps it light and simple. Sense, Versa and Google Pixel Watch add more on-wrist workout detail. The underlying idea is the same: a steady record of how active you are and how well you recover.

Wellness numbers become coaching input when they meet a goal
Fitbit is excellent at telling you what happened. It is less able to say what should happen next, because it doesn't know what you're working towards. Forty Active Zone Minutes is a good day for someone building a habit and an easy day for someone twelve weeks out from a half marathon.
The same goes for recovery. A low Daily Readiness score the morning after a hard session is normal. The same score during a taper, or after a week of poor sleep with a race on Sunday, is a different conversation. ChatGPT or Claude can reason about those differences, but only if it knows the race date, the plan and what else is going on.
Athmex keeps that part. Your goal, your races, the PBs and thresholds you trust, the days you can train and any injury you're managing are ready in every conversation, so the Fitbit numbers are read against something real.
Active Zone Minutes and heart-rate zones
Zone minutes are a useful weekly total. An assistant that knows your threshold heart rate and target event can say whether the minutes are going to the right kind of work, and whether easy days are staying easy.
Sleep Score and HRV
Tell your assistant how the last few nights went, or share the figures. With your week's key sessions and race date in Athmex, it can suggest whether to keep, move or shorten the next hard day.

Fitbit for runners
Many runners start with a Fitbit and a first 5K or 10K in mind. Pace, distance, heart rate and zones from each run give an assistant plenty to work with once it has reference points: a recent race time, the goal and the days you can run.
If you're building towards a race, the AI running coach page explains how ChatGPT or Claude can plan around your real week, and the goal pages go deeper on each distance.
What ChatGPT or Claude can do with your Fitbit training
- Low readiness before a key run
- Daily Readiness is low on long-run day. Decide whether to move it, knowing the race date and the purpose of the run.
- Zone minutes versus the goal
- Check whether this week's Active Zone Minutes went to the right mix of easy and harder work for your event.
- Sleep and a busy week
- Three short nights and a work trip. Reshape the next few days around what still matters for the race.
- From steps to a first race
- Turn a steady activity habit into a realistic plan for a first 5K, around the days you really have.
Fitbit shows what happened. Athmex explains what you're training for.
Your AI coach does the reasoning. It reasons better when it knows the athlete, and that part stays in your Athmex profile for every conversation.

Questions Fitbit athletes ask about ChatGPT and Claude
Can ChatGPT use my Fitbit data?
Some Fitbit data can reach ChatGPT, depending on your phone and the route you use, and you can always share numbers from the Fitbit app yourself. The assistant gives better answers when your goal, race and recent PBs are already in Athmex.
Can Claude read Fitbit sleep and HRV?
It depends on your setup. If sleep and HRV don't arrive on their own, tell Claude how you slept or share the figures. With your race date and plan in Athmex, Claude can say what a poor night should change.
Can AI use Fitbit Active Zone Minutes to plan training?
It can use them as a weekly measure of effort. Zone minutes become more useful when the assistant knows your threshold heart rate, your event and how many days you train.
Does Fitbit Daily Readiness mean I should skip a session?
Not on its own. Readiness is one signal. Where you are in the build, what the session is for and how close the race is decide whether to adjust, and Athmex keeps that context ready.
