Cookie Policy

This explains the cookies and similar browser storage on athmex.com. For everything else we do with personal data, see the Privacy Policy.

Your choices#

When you first visit, you can choose Accept all, Reject optional or Customise. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of any page.

Essential#

These keep you signed in, keep the service secure and remember your cookie choice. They do not need consent and cannot be switched off.

Analytics (only if you allow it)#

Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, shows us which pages are used and how people reach Athmex. It sets cookies and may send your IP address and browser details to Google.

If you allow Analytics, we also save in your browser the details of the link that brought you to Athmex: its source, medium and campaign, the page you landed on, the website you came from and the time. If you then create an account, we store those details against your account so we can see which channels bring athletes to Athmex. We do not use fingerprinting or match IP addresses.

Marketing (only if you allow it)#

Google Tag Manager lets us load advertising measurement only if you choose Marketing.

The Reddit Pixel, provided by Reddit, measures visits to public Athmex pages and whether a genuinely new account was created after someone saw or clicked a Reddit advert. It may set cookies and send Reddit the page address and referrer plus technical details such as your IP address, browser and device. We do not send Reddit your name, email address, account identifier, athlete data or signup form values. We will not activate the Pixel until Reddit's Enhanced Metadata Sharing and Automatic Advanced Matching have been disabled and verified off.

What happens if you say no#

Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Reddit Pixel do not load until you make the relevant choice. If you reject optional cookies, none of them loads and no campaign details are saved.

Withdrawing consent#

Changing your choice in Cookie settings removes the Google cookies and the saved campaign details from your browser, and the page reloads without the optional measurement tags. Campaign details already stored against your account are deleted if you delete your account.

Legal basis#

Our legal basis for analytics and marketing technologies is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).

Other measurement#

Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights give us aggregate site usage and performance figures. They are separate from the cookies above and are described in the Privacy Policy.
